Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Head of Accounts & Finance to lead our financial operations. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire finance function, ensuring regulatory compliance, financial health, and business growth. This role requires expertise in financial planning, strategy formulation, taxation, payroll management, cost optimization, process streamlining, and advising senior management on key financial decisions. The candidate must also be a strong leader, mentoring and guiding the finance team to achieve organizational financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning, Strategy & Advisory:

· Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with business objectives.

· Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making.

· Conduct risk assessment and mitigation planning to safeguard financial stability.

· Identify investment opportunities and advice on mergers, acquisitions, or expansion plans.

· Establish financial KPIs and performance benchmarks to track business growth.

2. Budgeting & Cost Optimization:

· Prepare and monitor annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cost-reduction strategies.

· Optimize capital allocation and ensure cost-effective financial management.

· Oversee financial modelling and scenario planning for strategic decision-making.

3. Accounting, Compliance & Audit:

· Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

· Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.

· Lead internal and external audits, ensuring transparency and adherence to financial policies.

4. Payroll & Employee Compensation:

· Manage payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements.

· Ensure compliance with labour laws, tax deductions, and employee benefits.

· Implement automation in payroll management to improve efficiency.

5. Cash Flow, Working Capital & Risk Management:

· Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements.

· Optimize fund allocation and financial reserves to support business operations.

· Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency fluctuations, interest rates, and credit risks.

6. Streamlining Day-to-Day Accounting & Finance Operations:

· Establish efficient accounting workflows to ensure smooth daily financial transactions.

· Implement automation tools and ERP systems for faster processing and reduced manual errors.

· Standardize accounting processes, financial documentation, and reconciliations.

· Improve invoice processing, vendor payments, and accounts receivable/payable management.

· Ensure timely closure of books of accounts and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

7. Implementation of New Accounting & Financial Strategies:

· Introduce and integrate best financial practices to enhance efficiency and profitability.

· Stay updated on industry trends and financial innovations to improve processes.

· Optimize tax planning, reporting structures, and compliance frameworks.

8. Financial Analysis & Reporting:

· Generate detailed financial reports, MIS, and performance analytics.

· Track key financial metrics, profitability ratios, and business health indicators.

· Present financial reports and recommendations to board members, investors, and senior leadership.

9. Team Leadership & Development:

· Lead, mentor, and manage the finance & accounts team for optimal performance.

· Establish a culture of continuous learning and financial excellence.

· Train and develop the team on new financial policies, regulations, and best practices.

10. Stakeholder & External Relations:

· Liaise with banks, investors, auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

· Manage relationships with external financial partners to ensure smooth business operations.

· Represent the company in financial negotiations and discussions with stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

· Educational Qualifications: CA/CFA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent.

· Experience: Minimum 12+ years in finance & accounts, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

· Proven experience in financial planning, strategy formulation, and risk management.

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, financial compliance, and corporate finance.

· Expertise in budgeting, cash flow management, cost optimization, and ERP systems.

· Ability to analyse complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

· Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.

· Strategic mind-set with the ability to drive financial growth and long-term business success.
